To ensure a smooth and comfortable travel experience, the organizing committee has arranged several transportation options for participants throughout their stay in Marrakech.
Getting to and around the APSA Conference 2025
Marrakech is served by Marrakech Menara International Airport (RAK), located approximately 15 minutes from JAAL Riad Resort.
Airport transfers to the hotel can be arranged upon request.
Official taxis are available at the airport exit (fixed rates; payment in MAD recommended).
Currency exchange and SIM card purchase points are available at the airport.
Shuttle Services
Daily shuttle service will be provided between the airport and JAAL Riad Resort for arriving and departing participants.
During the event, on-site transportation is not required, as all conference activities will take place within the resort.
For optional evening activities or excursions, organized group transfers will be arranged.
Local Transportation in Marrakech
For personal travel around the city, taxis are widely available and affordable.
Ride-hailing services such as Careem (local Uber equivalent) also operate in Marrakech.
The hotel concierge can assist with taxi bookings or guided transport if needed.
Practical Tips
Carry small change in Moroccan Dirhams (MAD) for taxis.
Confirm the fare before starting a taxi ride if not using a meter.
